Anthropology Club
Santa Fe College
Vice President & Treasurer

As vice president of the Santa Fe Anthropology Club and as an organization we are currently working to promote the four subfields of anthropology across the Santa Fe College campus. We run fundraising events, discuss new research in anthropology, promote an anthropology book club and actively recruit prospective members. As treasurer of the Anthropology Club I worked on improving our budget. I completed the packet for the 2015-2016 fiscal year and presented it to the Student Government committee. We were awarded $1,100 to start club activities. I also worked on fundraising ideas and understanding how our funds were to be properly handed.

Phi Theta Kappa is an honors society for two-year college students. As a member I have monthly committment to participate in a number of research, volunteer, and academic activities. Phi Theta Kappa has impacted my time here at Santa Fe to show me what it truly means to be apart of something larger.
